About CVICA
Colorado Valley Chapter represents the Colorado, Fayette and Lee counties. It is one of eleven chapters in the State of Texas.
We represent the cattle industry by providing our effective legislative and community voice for ranchers. Born in 1974 the grassroots organization has been devoted to advocating industry views, as well as providing services to the cow/calf producer.
As a dedicated voice for the beef industry, we are continually advocating positions, such as:
• Tax Relief for cattlemen and landowners
• Private Property Rights
• Science-based environmental rule-making
• Animal health requirements that protect Texas livestock herds
• Animal Welfare the Endangered Species Act
• Other Important Issues
